Looking Forward to Window Clippings 3: Selecting Shapes

Continuing my look at some of the highlights in the upcoming Window Clippings 3 release, today I want to share what I’ve done to improve support for capturing different shapes.

Previous versions of Window Clippings only let you select rectangular regions of the desktop. 1

Window Clippings 3 also lets you select an ellipse:

You can also make freehand selections:

The edges of shapes are captured with high-quality antialiasing to produce a smooth and polished look:
